Grant Llewellyn is one of the most respected conductors in North American and European classical music scenes. Born December 29, 1960 in Tenby, Wales, he has built a dynamic career shaping orchestral performance across major ensembles and festivals. From his early days winning the Leeds Conducting Competition in 1986, Llewellyn has led ensembles with clarity, warmth, and a distinctive left-hand technique developed after a 2021 stroke.
