Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestras Tickets

Formerly known as the Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestras (GBYO), the organization rebranded to Greater Connecticut Youth Orchestras (GCTYO) in 2019 to reflect a broader membership across the state. Today, GCTYO brings together 300+ member families from more than 40 communities, with rehearsals held in Fairfield and main performances staged at the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport. The program offers ten ensembles, from Principal Orchestra and Philharmonic to Jazz, Steel Pan, and various string/sinfonia groups, providing a pathway for young musicians to grow as performers and collaborators.

Beyond local concerts, GCTYO maintains an international travel program that brings members together for enriching performance experiences every two years. The organization remains active online through social channels, sharing updates, performances, and opportunities for aspiring musicians to join the journey.

Upcoming highlights include the Jack Lawrence Fall Concerts (Nov 23, 2025) and the Play All Day at The SoNo Collection (Dec 6, 2025). Winter concerts featuring multiple ensembles are planned for 2026 at The Klein Auditorium in Bridgeport, with a full calendar available on the official site.
