Greater Buffalo Youth Ballet (GBYB) is a not-for-profit ballet program based in Buffalo, New York, dedicated to developing young dancers from ages 6 to 18. Founded in 1997 by Elizabeth DiStasio-Waddell, who serves as artistic director, GBYB bridges classical technique with original works, offering a nurturing environment where aspiring artists can train, perform, and grow. As the official school and partner company of the Royal Academy of Ballet and Dance (RAB) in Buffalo, GBYB maintains strong ties to the broader regional arts community while emphasizing accessibility and artistic excellence.
