Biography: A Seattle native, Greg Parman developed his sonorous saxophone and flute voices within a rich regional network before expanding to Los Angeles, Orange County, and Nashville. His collaborations span a diverse roster, including One Nation, Mark Massey, Ron Kobayashi, Luis Villegas, Little Bill & the Blue Notes, and Merrilee Rush. This breadth informs a sound that is both accessible and sophisticated, rooted in jazz feeling with a modern edge.
Discography Highlights: Greg’s performer credits include Las Ventanas with One Nation (2004) which earned OCMA Best Latin - Contemporary recognition, and Premodernism with Chris Williams (circa 2004–2007), honored by OCMA as Best Latin in 2007. He has also contributed to Debi Raven’s Romantically Raven (2019) and Ron Levy Jazz Quartet’s Rumbango (2018), expanding his reach across jazz genres and recordings.
