Grosse Isle Tickets

Grosse Isle is a dynamic traditional/folk trio weaving Irish pipes, Québécois fiddle, and bilingual storytelling into a vibrant live experience. The project began as a duo with Sophie Lavoie (fiddle, piano, vocals) and Fiachra O'Regan (uilleann pipes, whistle) before welcoming guitarist François-Félix Roy to form a trio in 2021, a shift reflected in their release Le Bonhomme sept heures / The Bonesetter. In 2025, they released Homérique on La Compagnie du Nord, continuing their tradition of poetic, cross-cultural material that resonates with audiences across North America.

Grosse Isle has earned recognition across Canada's folk and traditional music scenes, with ADISQ nominations for Un Canadien errant (2016) and Portraits (2019) and a GAMIQ nomination in 2021 for Le Bonhomme sept heures / The Bonesetter. Sophie Lavoie has been nominated multiple times for CFMA Traditional Singer of the Year (2017, 2020, 2022), and Homérique is listed for the 2025 GAMIQ nomination in the trad category.
