Ground Up emerged in 2008 from Temple University's campus, built on a DIY, independent ethos that shaped their approach to hip-hop. The project began with Azar, Malakai, and Bij Lincs, delivering music with a hands-on mindset and a commitment to authentic storytelling. Over the years, Ground Up has carved a path through the indie scene while making notable marks at major festivals and in influential press outlets.
