Grupo Stampede emerged from the Dallas–Fort Worth region in the late 1990s, weaving Tejano melodies with energetic cumbia grooves and ranchera flair. Recognized early in their career, they captured attention by earning the Tejano Music Awards’ Rising Star of the Year in 2002 and continued to influence the Tejano scene, including ballot presence in 2016. Their work blends traditional Tejano sentiments with contemporary rhythms, making their live shows a memorable experience for fans of regional Mexican music.
