The Guy Mendilow Ensemble is a dynamic, internationally touring group founded in 2004, known for its evocative multimedia storytelling and residencies that bring music into classrooms, museums, and festivals. With a sound that weaves Sephardic songs, tango, flamenco, Arabic percussion, and Western classical foundations, the ensemble creates immersive performances that feel both intimate and expansive. The group has earned recognition from major arts funders, including the National Endowment for the Arts Art Works grant (2017), and support from The Boston Foundation, New England Foundation for the Arts, and the Western States Arts Alliance. Their work often combines music with visual storytelling, narration, and interactive elements, inviting audiences to explore history, memory, and culture through sound.
