Guy Penrod is a renowned gospel artist whose soaring vocals and warm stage presence have made him a fixture in American gospel music. Best known as the lead singer of the Gaither Vocal Band from roughly 1995 to 2009, Penrod later built a successful solo career releasing albums that span 2010 to 2018, including Breathe Deep, Hymns, Worship, Christmas, Live: Hymns & Worship, Classics, and Blessed Assurance. His work has earned multiple awards, including a Grammy and several GMA Dove Awards, and he was inducted into the Texas Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2011 and the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2014.
