Originating with animator Jason Zucker's collaboration for the 2023 premiere, Hand-Drawn Jazz returned for a 2nd edition in October 2025 at the Dr. Phillips Center (Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater) in Orlando, featuring 60+ local musicians. The initiative received grant support from the Elizabeth Morse Genius Foundation to help bring Hand-Drawn Jazz 2 to life.
