The Hanover Wind Symphony is a community-rooted wind ensemble in New Jersey with a history spanning four decades. Founded in 1985 as a community-based group with roots at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham/Madison campus, the ensemble has grown under the steady leadership of long-tenured conductors and dedicated music directors. Today, under the direction of Music Director Matthew J. Paterno, the ensemble combines accessible programs with high artistic standards, making it a staple of the New Jersey concert scene.
