Haptic Dance is a Chicago-born experimental music project known for its dense textures, electroacoustic drones, and a device-agnostic approach to sound production. Since forming in 2005, core members Hess, Mills, and Sonderberg have built a collaborative live setup that often features a rotating fourth musician, expanding the sonic palette for each performance. The project operates at the intersection of experimental composition and immersive listening, appealing to listeners who seek non-traditional soundscapes and a carefully crafted live experience.
