HaZamir, officially the international Jewish teen choir, began in 1993 as the high school arm of the Zamir Choral Foundation. Since then, it has grown into a network of chapters across the United States and Israel, culminating in an annual gala concert on major New York City stages. The ensemble is renowned for a diverse repertoire that spans popular music, modern Israeli songs, and Jewish American classics in English and Hebrew, with occasional world premieres and classical commissions.
