The live experience
What reaches the room
Head - Band emerged from the late 1980s Bristol music scene as a cross-pertilization of trip hop and alternative rock. Formed by Gareth Sager, known from Pop Group and Rip Rig Panic, and Nick Sheppard, who hailed from The Cortinas and The Clash, Head - Band helped lay groundwork for what would later be recognized as early trip-hop influences. Although they released three studio albums before disbanding and did not sustain a long-running tour cycle, their recordings are celebrated by fans of Bristol’s experimental edge.
