Heathens are a dynamic Americana roots band formed in 2005 in Austin, Texas by Ed Jurdi, Gordy Quist, and Colin Brooks. Since Brooks left in 2011, the core duo has continued to evolve under their independent banner, BOH Records, with early releases also appearing on Blue Rose Records. Known for their cohesive harmonies, guitar-driven melodies, and soulful storytelling, Heathens have built a devoted fanbase across the United States.

In 2018, their Band of Heathens cover of Hurricane reached No. 18 on Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs chart and has since been certified Gold by the RIAA (2024). Their 2023 release Simple Things topped Americana radio charts for about two months, reaffirming their status in the scene. In 2024, Heathens joined forces with Hayes Carll to form Hayes & The Heathens, delivering a self-titled album and high-energy live performances, including Red Rocks shows in 2025.
