Hector El Father, born Héctor Luis Delgado Román on September 12, 1978 in Carolina, Puerto Rico, is a pivotal figure in the evolution of reggaetón. Rising to fame as one half of the duo Héctor & Tito (Los Bambinos), his early hits helped propel reggaetón into a global phenomenon. After retiring from secular music in 2008 to pursue Christian ministry, he continued farewell performances through May 2010. In 2021, he released a solo studio album under his birth name, Héctor Delgado, featuring Christian and gospel themes. Today, his focus is on ministry and media with Maranatha Radio Ministries and the Maranatha 911 channel announced in 2025.
