Heist is a fast-paced, Ocean's Eleven–inspired caper from writer Arun Lakra, a Calgary-based physician-turned-playwright celebrated for his award-winning storytelling. Debuting at Vertigo Theatre in Calgary in early 2024, Heist has since enjoyed acclaimed productions and touring plans across Canada and the United States. Lakra’s work, including the multi-award-winning Sequence, blends sharp wit with high-tension suspense, drawing on decades of medical and storytelling experience to craft characters you’ll root for and a plot you won’t soon forget.
