Henrik Nanasi is a distinguished conductor whose career spans the worlds of opera and symphonic performance. Born in 1975 in Pécs, Hungary, he trained at the Béla Bartók Conservatory in Budapest and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Nanasi served as General Music Director of the Komische Oper Berlin from 2012 to 2017, where he helped shape a vibrant, modern repertoire. He made his Metropolitan Opera debut in 2019 conducting Iolanta and Bluebeard's Castle, a landmark moment in his international trajectory.
