Henry Kissinger, born in Fürth, Germany in 1923, is a pivotal figure in 20th-century diplomacy. After immigrating to the United States in 1938 and becoming a naturalized citizen in 1943, he rose to become National Security Advisor (1969–1975) and Secretary of State (1973–1977) under Presidents Nixon and Ford. Kissinger played a central role in shaping U.S. foreign policy during the era of détente with the Soviet Union and the opening of relations with China. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1973 (shared with Le Duc Tho) for his efforts toward a ceasefire in Vietnam. Henry Kissinger passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 100. While there are no 2025 tours, institutional talks and speaking engagements sometimes occur through academic centers and organizations.
