High Point Panthers Football represents an important chapter in North Carolina college football. From its inception in 1925 through the 1950 season, HPC contributed memorable moments, including the first night football game in North Carolina in 1931, a 1945 North Carolina Conference title, and a historic 107-0 victory over Pope Field Air Base in 1949. While the program was disbanded after 1950 due to funding constraints and there is no public plan to restart, the legacy lives on in the Albion Millis Stadium footprint and the broader history of High Point University athletics. Below you’ll find a concise biography, career highlights, and context for any current or future appearances associated with the HPC name.
