Hildaland is a dynamic collaboration between Louise Bichan from Orkney, Scotland, and Ethan Setiawan from Indiana, USA. Meeting at Berklee College of Music, they fuse traditional Scottish fiddle with melodic mandolin to create a contemporary sound rooted in their shared love of, and respect for, traditional tunes. Their name reflects a partnership where two voices blend to tell new musical stories.

Hildaland has released material on Adhy e2ropa Records, including the debut album Sule Skerry (released November 3, 2023) and a 2025 instrumental EP, Fiddle Tunes. Their work has earned recognition in the folk scene, with Sule Skerry longlisted for the 2024 Scots Trad Music Awards Album of the Year.
