Born in London in 2021 from the creative partnership of James Walbourne (The Pretenders, The Rails) and Kristoffer Sonne (Chrissie Hynde, Willie Nelson), His Lordship has emerged as one of the UK’s most explosive live acts. The duo, rooted in high-energy rock ’n’ roll with garage, punk, and post-punk influences, crafts a sound that’s urgent, guitar-driven, and undeniably hook-laden. Their self-titled debut album arrived in January 2024, produced by David Wrench and Tchad Blake, and released through Psychonaut Sounds / Integral. In 2025 they followed with Bored Animal, conceived and recorded live in the Highlands with Wrench, featuring singles like “I Fly Planes Into Hurricanes” and the title track “Bored Animal.”
