The live experience
What reaches the room
Homegrown Music Festival is Duluth’s nonprofit celebration of the region’s vibrant music scene. Founded in 1999 by Scott 'Starfire' Lunt and now co-directed by Cory Jezierski and Dereck Murphy-Williams, the festival brings together artists from Duluth, Superior, and the broader Arrowhead region for an intensive week of live performances across 30+ venues. Since becoming a nonprofit in 2006, Homegrown has nurtured local talent while welcoming notable acts from the broader indie scene, creating a yearly spotlight for audiences to explore clubs, bars, galleries, and outdoor stages throughout Duluth and Superior.
