The live experience
What reaches the room
Ho‘okena is a storied Hawaiian vocal trio known for rich harmonies, contemporary influences, and a deep connection to the islands’ musical roots. Formed in 1986 by Horace K. Dudoit III, Chris Kamaka, and Glen Smith, the group has earned seven Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards and earned three Grammy nominations across decades of studio work and live performances. Their intimate harmonies and Island sound have taken them from intimate venues to Carnegie Hall, and they’ve even performed for President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in 2008. Whether you’re new to Ho‘okena or a longtime admirer, you’ll find their live shows a seamless blend of tradition and modern Hawaii.
