Horse Feathers is the intimate, genre-defying project born in Portland, Oregon in 2004 and led by Justin Ringle. Known for its blending of violin, cello, banjo, and lush string arrangements, the band has carved a distinct niche in indie folk and chamber folk circles. Over the years, the lineup has included collaborators such as Peter Broderick, Heather Broderick, and Nathan Crockett, among others, but the core sound remains the same: warm, contemplative songs built around storytelling and texture.
