Hotel Neon is an ambient/experimental project that began in 2013 as a duo founded by Michael and Andrew Tasselmyer. In 2015, Steven Kemner joined the group, shaping a sound that blends intimate textures with expansive soundscapes. Over the years, Hotel Neon has released nine-plus full-length albums and a similar number of EPs, working with labels including Home Normal, Fluid Audio/Archives, and Sound In Silence. Their collaborative work Language of Loss with Blurstem, released on August 20, 2019, is a standout collaboration that showcases their immersive approach to sound. In 2023, Hotel Neon released 10: Reworks as a deluxe CD edition via Fluid Audio/Facture, with a standard self-released version available as well. The band’s activity spans from 2014 to the present, with live performances and a consistent presence on their official site and social platforms.
