Hoxeyville Music Festival began as a one-day event in 2003, founded by luthier Jake Robinson at Coyote Crossing Resort. By 2008, the festival relocated to Wellston, Michigan, growing into a multi-day, family-friendly Americana and roots gathering. A permanent stage was built by 2012, and the festival expanded to a site of roughly 150 acres, with capacity typically around 3,000–5,000 attendees. Located at 11130 W 48 1/2 Rd, Wellston, MI, the festival sits within the scenic Manistee National Forest, offering a natural backdrop for live music, workshops, and community fun. While the original Hoxeyville concept concluded in 2024, the event evolved into Truckin’ Into Hoxey in 2025 and is planned to continue as Hoxeyville Skies in 2026.
