Hugh Hodgson School of Music at the University of Georgia stands as a dynamic hub for classical and contemporary performance. With roughly 600 students, about 65 faculty members, and around 350 public performances annually across a campus arts complex featuring Hodgson Concert Hall and Ramsey Concert Hall, the program delivers a robust live-music experience you can feel. Upcoming highlights for 2025 include ARCO Chamber Orchestra concerts—All Classical on April 4, 2025, and The Journey on November 13, 2025—alongside Hodgson Singers and Treble Choir performances on October 10, 2025, among other fall events. Past touring accomplishments include Wind Ensemble’s international tours to Argentina, Switzerland, and France, and the ARCO Chamber Orchestra’s La Fenice appearances.
