Hump Film Festival is a groundbreaking live cinema event celebrating sex-positive storytelling through short films. Since its inception in 2005 by Dan Savage, the festival has toured theaters nationwide, offering 90-minute programs composed of multiple shorts, each under five minutes. The festival prides itself on uncensored, uncropped shorts and a precisely audience-driven experience where attendees vote for favorites and filmmakers share in ticket proceeds. In 2025, the festival marks its 20th anniversary with two lineup windows: Part One screens February through May, and Part Two screens September through November, spanning roughly 40 cities.
