I Found My Horn is a celebrated musical theatre solo show based on Jasper Rees’s memoir I Found My Horn: One Man's Struggle with the Orchestra's Most Difficult Instrument (US title A Devil to Play). The production artfully blends storytelling with music, delivering a dramatic, intimate performance led by a singular performer in a high-energy, theatrical experience. Since its 2008 premiere at the Aldeburgh Festival, the show has enjoyed multiple revivals and extended runs in West End theatres, Chichester, Hampstead, and beyond. In 2025, I Found My Horn returns to London for a limited run at Mercury Studio, Mercury Theatre, July 31 to August 1, delivering approximately 1.5 hours of sit-down storytelling with no interval.
