Icarium is an instrumental prog rock project hailing from Fort Worth, Texas. Formed around 2011, the band centers around drummer/pianist David Seaman and guitarist Bobby Stubbs, with Chesley Whitney and Clay Cody joining in later years. Their sound blends progressive rock, math rock, post-rock, and electronica to create intricate, mood-shifting instrumental landscapes. On Bandcamp, Icarium has released the self-produced albums Time (2023) and City of Esoteric Shapes (2017), showcasing a commitment to explorative composition and patient, dynamic arrangements. The current lineup continues to push boundaries, delivering music that rewards focused listening and immersive live experiences.
