Idin is an Iranian composer and performer whose work travels across genres, blending contemporary classical textures with electronic elements. Born in 1982 in Tehran, he is now based in Oslo, Norway, where he co-founded and serves as artistic manager of the Spectro Centre for New Music. With a PhD in Artistic Research from the Norwegian Academy of Music (2023), Idin creates immersive performances that push the boundaries of sound and structure. He brings a global perspective to the stage, backed by a rigorous academic background and a dynamic collaboration network.

Key highlights of Idin's career include winning the first prize at the Areon Flutes International Composition Competition in 2009 with Pastorale, and a notable recent performance of Nafir—a concerto for double bass quartet, orchestra, and fixed media—debuting at Warsaw Autumn 2025 at the National Philharmonic in Warsaw.
