Illinois State University’s School of Music hosts a range of faculty ensembles that showcase the depth and versatility of ISU’s musical community. While there isn’t a standalone touring group named “Illinois State Faculty Ensembles,” ISU faculty regularly perform in jazz combos such as Jazz Ensembles I & II and in recital programs across genres. These ensembles, led by ISU’s distinguished professors and guest artists, deliver performances that highlight contemporary jazz, classical chamber works, and rich American repertoire.
