Illiterate Light emerged from Harrisonburg, Virginia, in 2015, the brainchild of Jeff Gorman (vocals/guitar/synth) and Jake Cochran (drums/vocals). The duo released their debut studio album, Illiterate Light, in 2019 on Atlantic Records, delivering a strong statement of their energetic, melodic indie-rock sensibility.
