Indigenous Enterprise is a bold, boundary-pushing performer collective founded in 2015 by Kenneth Shirley (Diné) and built around eight champion powwow dancers. The group specializes in powwow dance styles—such as men’s fancy war dance, jingle dress, hoop, and chicken dances—integrating them with contemporary performance and ceremonial regalia. Their work is rooted in Indigenous storytelling, ritual movement, and a modern stage aesthetic, creating shows that are both culturally resonant and universally engaging.
