Formed in 2018 around Laz Glickman and a rotating cast of collaborators, the group evolved from a local trio into a dynamic collective that has opened for renowned acts and performed at notable venues across the Pacific Northwest.

Originating from Mel Brown’s jazz workshop at Western Oregon University, IP built its reputation through intimate collaborations and diverse live performances. The project features a core roster including Laz Glickman (keys), Finn Jones (multi-instrumentalist), MCAMP (Michael Campanelli), Will Glausi (sax), and Jordan Goldblatt (drums). Over the years, Innovation Project has opened for the Ravi Coltrane Quartet and Taylor Eigsti, performing at Blue Hour, Jimmy Mak’s, and The Goodfoot, among others. These performances showcased their lyrical phrasing, adventurous arrangements, and a modern approach to jazz that resonates with wide audiences.
