Island Soul Choir Tickets

Island Soul Choir began on Vancouver Island in 2007 as the Vancouver Island Gospel & World Music Choir and renamed Island Soul Choir in 2009. Since July 2024, Tom Arntzen has guided the ensemble as Music Director, following the tenure of Karla Mundy as director prior to 2024. The choir is renowned for its inclusive, community-focused approach and a repertoire that spans gospel, soul, world music, blues, pop, and R&B. Rehearsals are scheduled on weekends with a cadence of five sessions, typically spaced 3–4 weeks apart, allowing participants to balance practice with personal commitments. The group emphasizes participation and shared musical exploration, inviting voices from across the community to join in musical fellowship.
