Jackmaster, born January 11, 1986 in Glasgow, Scotland, was a defining figure in the global electronic music scene. As a cofounder of Numbers in 2010, he helped shape Glasgow's Rubadub sound into a worldwide movement, blending house, techno, garage, and beyond with a fearless, dancefloor-first approach. He passed away on October 12, 2024 in Ibiza, Spain after an accidental head injury. We honor his legacy with a look at his life, music, and the tours that brought his dynamic sets to clubs and festivals around the world.
