Jaga Jazzist’s work has earned critical recognition, including the BBC Jazz Album of the Year award for A Livingroom Hush (2002) and Alarmprisen in 2002. Band member Lars Horntveth later earned a Spellemannprisøn for his solo project Pooka in 2004.
