Jake Armerding is a distinguished multi-project performer whose work spans solo albums, collaborative ensembles, and inventive string quartets. A winner of WUMB's Best New Artist Award in 2001, Armerding's career has grown from intimate songwriter performances to high-profile stages and concert series. He co-founded Rosin, a neoclassical string quartet that debuted at Carnegie Hall in 2018, reflecting his ongoing exploration of genre-blending string music. In addition to his solo artistry, Jake has contributed to Barnstar!, The Fretful Porcupine, and continues to perform with Rosin.
