Jazz Roots Tickets

Jazz Roots is a cornerstone of South Florida’s vibrant jazz community. Founded in 2008 through a collaboration between the Adrienne Arsht Center and Larry Rosen, this dynamic program has grown into a national model for live performance and jazz education. Based in Miami, FL, Jazz Roots brings world-class artists to the Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center, delivering intimate performances and immersive experiences for fans and aspiring musicians alike.

Beyond the stage, Jazz Roots is dedicated to education and mentorship. The Jazz Roots SoundCheck program provides behind-the-scenes access and hands-on learning to more than 400 young musicians each season, contributing to a broader outreach of 15,000+ students in prior seasons. The initiative helps cultivate the next generation of jazz talent while enriching the local cultural landscape.

With a career spanning more than a decade, Jazz Roots has touched over 88,000 attendees and hosted more than 160 living jazz artists and ensembles. The ongoing series continues to present four to five concerts per season at the Knight Concert Hall, drawing both devoted listeners and curious newcomers. The 2024–25 lineup includes: Sarah Vaughan: A Sassy Centennial (Nov 1, 2024), Chucho Valdés Royal Quartet (Feb 7, 2025), Jason Moran (Mar 21, 2025), and Arturo Sandoval (Apr 11, 2025). The 2025–26 season opens with Kind of Blue: Celebrating the Music of Miles Davis (Nov 7, 2025).
