JD Samson is a pivotal figure in electro-punk and feminist-led indie rock, joining Le Tigre in 2000 and helping steer the band toward politically charged, danceable music. As a core member of MEN (later JD Samson & MEN), Samson explored bold electronic pop and dance-punk rhythms, releasing notable projects like Talk About Body (2011) and Labor (2013). In 2020, Samson co-founded CRICKETS with Roddy Bottum and Michael O’Neill, releasing a debut album on Muddguts Records.
