Jessica Linnebach is a prominent Canadian violinist known for her leadership as the Associate Concertmaster of the National Arts Centre Orchestra (NAC) in Ottawa, a role she has held since 2010. A versatile performer and chamber musician, she is a founding member of the Zukerman Chamber Players and an integral member of the Ironwood String Quartet, collaborating with NAC colleagues and top-tier artists. Linnebach plays a circa 1840 Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume violin on loan from the Canada Council for the Arts, a rare instrument that supports her refined tonal palette and expressive command across repertoire. Her educational foundation includes the Curtis Institute of Music (Bachelor of Music) and the Manhattan School of Music (Master of Music) where she studied with Pinchas Zukerman.
