Jim Campilongo is a distinguished guitarist and songwriter whose melodic wit and instrumental prowess have left a lasting imprint on American roots, Americana, and indie scenes. Born July 8, 1958, in South San Francisco, California, Campilongo matured into a nyc-based virtuoso famed for his mastery of the Fender Telecaster. He co-founded Jim Campilongo & the 10 Gallon Cats in 1996, later collaborated with Norah Jones in The Little Willies, and led the Electric Trio in performances that showcase his inventive phrasing and signature tone.
