Jim Lauderdale is a quintessential voice of modern Americana, blending traditional bluegrass with country, rock, and folk sensibilities. A two-time Grammy winner for Best Bluegrass Album (Lost in the Lonesome Pines, with Ralph Stanley, 2002; The Bluegrass Diaries, 2008), Lauderdale has forged an expansive, genre-spanning catalog that includes early works like Planet of Love (1991) and recent collaborations with The Game Changers and The Po' Ramblin' Boys. As the frontman of The Game Changers, his 2022 album Game Changer redefined the project on Sky Crunch Records, with 2023’s The Long and Lonesome Letting Go continuing the story. Lauderdale’s music travels across roots, bluegrass, alt-country, and indie rock, inviting listeners into rich narratives backed by superb storytelling and expert musicianship.
