- Origin: New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The trio blends blues, funk, and classic New Orleans piano styles with the distinctive voice of the Hammond B-3 organ.
- Core history: Originally formed as Joe Krown Trio with Walter Wolfman Washington (guitar) and Russell Batiste Jr. (drums) from 2007–2017. Wayne Maureau joined the lineup in 2017, preserving the band’s signature sound while expanding the groove.
