Background & training: Justine earned a Bachelor’s degree from the Curtis Institute of Music (2013), studying with Ida Kavafian and Joseph Silverstein. She completed an Artist Diploma in Concertmaster Studies at the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2015. Early roles include Concertmaster positions with the Canton Symphony Orchestra (2013–2015) and the National Philharmonic (2011–2013), plus Associate Concertmaster duties with the Akron Symphony (2013–2014) and the Kansas City Symphony (three seasons). In 2018, she joined the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, adding a robust orchestral presence to Heinz Hall’s stages. Her career is marked by awards such as the Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist Award (2007).
