Kid You'll Move Mountains is a Chicago-area indie pop/indie rock act with roots tracing back to 2006 and the Troubled Hubble universe. Founded by Jim Hanke, Corey Wills, Nina Lanthrum, Andrew Lanthrum, and Nate Lanthrum, the band emerged with a hands-on, community-driven approach to creating music that invites audience participation. Their debut album Loomings (2009) was self-released and produced with a DIY ethos, featuring standout tracks like Inside Voice, Volts, West, and No Applause. The group gained local momentum with a late-2008 Metro Chicago CD release show and positive regional coverage that highlighted their energetic live dynamics and dual-vocalist setup.
