Koros - Agora De La Danse Tickets

Koros is a pioneering VR-based contemporary dance project created and produced by Agora de la danse in Montreal. Featuring three acclaimed choreographers—Margie Gillis, Hélène Blackburn, and Andrea Peña—the project reimagines live performance through immersive digital storytelling. Since its February 2023 premiere at Agora de la danse, Koros has thrilled audiences with sold-out shows and is expanding its reach with a major Quebec-wide tour slated for 2025–2026, as well as international presentations, including a US collaboration with Penn Live Arts in Philadelphia in January 2025.

Designed for itinerant delivery across theatres, libraries, and cultural centers, Koros invites audiences to engage with contemporary dance in new spaces and formats. Admission is free with reservation, ensuring accessibility while maintaining the integrity of each performance as a shared, live experience.

Koros showcases three distinct works adapted for VR: The Complex Simplicity of Love, Allegro Barbaro, and 6.58 manifesto. Each piece explores movement, memory, and connection through a technologically immersive lens, offering a fresh perspective on how dance can travel beyond traditional stages. The project has already toured nationally and internationally, with Montreal serving as the initial launchpad and Sept 24–26, 2025 as the kickoff for the upcoming Quebec-wide tour spanning approximately 26 cities and nearly 30 venues.
