The Las Vegas Youth Orchestra (LVYO) is a tuition-free program serving 185+ young musicians ages 8–18 across Southern Nevada. With three ensembles—the Youth Philharmonic, Symphony, and Jazz Band—LVYO provides a comprehensive musical education through performance, discipline, and teamwork. Auditions are required, and the program is managed by Friends of the Las Vegas Youth Orchestra, keeping access open and affordable for families.

From a national model program recognized in 1984 by the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) to on-stage experiences at Carnegie Hall in 1988, LVYO has a storied history of excellence. 2025 Winter Concert: December 13, 2025, at Del Sol Academy of the Performing Arts, Las Vegas. Showtimes run 3:00 PM–5:00 PM. Tickets are available online or at the venue. This event features performances by LVYO’s three ensembles, showcasing orchestral and jazz repertoire performed by talented young musicians.
